Advanced Polymer Alloys (Booth N5139-K) is spotlighting its ultraviolet-light-stable DuraGrip TPE 6100 series at NPE.
The DuraGrip thermoplastic elastomer is used for consumer and light industrial products. It bonds well to engineered thermoplastic materials, including hard-to-overmold nylon substrates, and will not fade significantly with long-term exposure to sunlight.
According to Jeff Senich, APA business development manager, the material's long-term UV resistance enables it to be used in critical applications like automotive interiors, window and door seals, office furniture and other durable goods.
APA is a Wilmington, Del.-based division of Ferro Corp.
