In targeting the entry-level market, Economizer USA (Booth S3028) of South Attleboro, Mass., displays the ESS Series 850 single shaft shredder for reduction of large parts and purgings.
The shredder is the smallest among four models in the ESS Series with a feed opening of 47.3 inches by 35.4 inches. The largest ESS model, the 2000, has a feed opening of 55.9 inches by 82.7 inches. The number of rotor cutters in the series ranges from 52 to 128. All models come standard with dual rows of bed knives.
Economizer introduces an ESH Series heavy-duty granulator that has hydraulic access to the cutting chamber and screen cradle. A third bed knife, or deflector wedge, is available as an option.
In addition, Economizer displays the ESE Series beside-the-press granulator in three sizes suitable for numerous molding processes. The 12-inch-diamter three-blade rotor uses V-cut technology that directs material to the center of the rotor from each end. Vacuum, manual or blower discharge formats are available.
The EL Series hopper loaders include five models with hourly capacities ranging from 110-325 pounds. The four largest models have control capabilities for an optional proportioning valve.
Economizer's EP-ST sprue-removal robots have a patented gripper design and, as an option, a two-stage telescopic vertical arm.
