Brampton Engineering Inc. installed two new lines at its blown film technology center in Brampton.
“We expect bubble-up on a new nine-layer conventional blown film line in early spring of 2006, and we will have bubble-down with a seven-layer AquaFrost line in late spring,” said Bud Smith, president and chief executive officer.
Traditional blown film blows the bubble up, but AquaFrost is a downward-blown water-quenched process, turning out very clear, thermoformable film for food packaging.
