Gruppo Colines srl of Novara, Italy, has tested a Barriercast line to produce a seven-layer, cast polypropylene barrier film.
Gruppo Colines will ship the line to a customer in South America. The line makes film 82.7 inches wide. The film is targeted at food-packaging applications.
The company has sold four seven-layer Barriercast lines in the last year and a half.
