Terry Gillian, a 29-year veteran of the rotational molding industry, has started a manufacturers' representative firm, called Paladin Sales, in Uniontown.
The firm represents two companies: Pulverizer supplier Powder King LLC of Anthem, Ariz., and Polymer Systems International Ltd., a Napier, New Zealand-based maker of in-mold and post-mold graphics.
Gillian said he is interested in adding one more company that offers a useful product or service to rotomolders. Paladin Sales plans to have a booth at the fall meeting of the Association of Rotational Molders International, Nov. 5-7 in Washington.
Gillian was inducted into ARM's Hall of Fame last year.
His rotomolding background has been mostly in machinery. He had been in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years when he was on his way through Akron, Ohio, on a visit home and saw a help-wanted ad for a service technician. In 1977, he took the job at rotomolding equipment maker McNeil Akron Inc. Later, he moved up to become sales manager.
Gillian also was regional sales manager at Mold In Graphic Systems of Clarkdale, Ariz. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for machinery maker Ferry Industries Inc. in Stow, Ohio.
He started Paladin Sales in January.
