Corotec Corp., which makes surface-treatment equipment in Farmington, Conn., introduced its Uni-Dyne narrow-web corona treatment line, with a built-in, removable electrode drawer, and two other new products.
A pull-out handle on the electrode cartridge allows the assembly to be removed for cleaning, and a spare cartridge can take its place. Or it can be changed to one with a different electrode configuration for other applications.
Corotec also has applied the all-in-one Uni-Dyne concept to its sheet-treating systems, geared toward in-line sheet-fed processes or table-top laboratory environments.
Corotec also introduced its Plasma-Jet corona treatment system to increase the wettability of three-dimensional parts before label or graphic application.
