Philip Clemens, 75, former chief executive officer for automotive injection molder National Plastics Corp. in Fort Wayne, died Nov. 16 as a result of complications following a heart attack.
He started National Plastics in the early 1960s, and in 1986 he started International Packaging Corp., one of the first companies dedicated to the production of jewel boxes for compact discs.
Clemens, who held local and national offices in the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. and the Society of Plastics Engineers, is survived by four children.
