Frank Esposito, who in April will mark his 10th year as a reporter for Plastics News, has been promoted to senior reporter. Esposito works from the newspaper's Akron headquarters and covers the resin pricing and materials industry.
``Frank has one of the toughest jobs in the business - tracking resin pricing changes by coaxing sensitive, closely held information out of resin buyers, producers and distributors daily,'' said Robert Grace, Plastics News editor and associate publisher. ``It's a thankless task, in that someone on one side of the equation or the other almost always is unhappy, depending on whether the price is rising or falling. Yet for years Frank has handled this duty with persistence, good humor and an amazing grasp of market mechanics.''
Esposito is a 1992 graduate in English from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
Bill Bregar, who is an 18-year Plastics News veteran, is the publication's other senior reporter.
