Film maker Klöckner Pentaplast Group of Montabaur is adding production capacity to its polyester film plant in Beaver, W.Va.
Klöckner currently employs 60 at the site, which it has operated since 2000, spokeswoman Ann Hooff said in a Sept. 6 e-mail response to questions. Klöckner will add 15 jobs in the project.
``The added capacity will allow us to meet future global market demand and further enhance new product development capabilities,'' said Michael Tubridy, president and chief operating officer of Klöckner Pentaplast/Americas in Gordonsville, Va., in a news release.
Hooff would not disclose the physical plant size or the amount of equipment that will be installed. The films primarily are used for thermoformed packaging and food-packaging applications.
