Ampacet Corp. has extended its LiquidMetal colors line with seven new shades.Aimed at PET bottles, the new shades give the appearance of highly reflective metal. They are called bronze, glitzy gold, ruby slipper, silver sparkle, midnight blue, brown sugar and bright chrome. End uses include packaging for cosmetics, health and beauty aids, specialty foods, beverages and car-care products.
The Tarrytown, N.Y., firm now offers 13 LiquidMetal colors.
“These colors, which look like clear-coat automotive finishes, ratchet up PET's appearance to boost brand awareness and shelf appeal,” the company said in a news release.
