Primex Plastics Corp. has a new line of color concentrates for its high-impact polystyrene sheet products. The new concentrates, called Luminique, include pearl¼escent, metallic and bright colors. Also included is a mirror-finish black coextruded sheet to complement colored HIPS sheets.
The Richmond, Ind., firm says Luminique allows users to add value in applications such as high-end packaging, point-of-purchase displays, signage and other uses. The new colors are free of heavy metals. Primex said it plans to expand the Luminique line to include other polymers.
