Paul Demboski, a certified public accountant, joined the Columbus, Ohio-based Crane Group in 1995. Since then he has worked at both the operating unit level, as the director of finance and procurement, and at the corporate level, where he is now positioned. His current role includes oversight of the strategic sourcing of resins — primarily PVC and HDPE — used by Crane's various operating units as well as his other financial-related responsibilities.
Crane is a third-generation business that celebrated its 60th year of family ownership in 2007. The group includes the following companies: Crane Plastics Manufacturing Ltd. (custom plastic profile extrusions), TimberTech Ltd. (engineered composite decking), Crane Performance Siding (vinyl siding and various exterior construction products), Crane Fencing Solutions (vinyl fencing) and Crane Materials International (seawalls, pilings, docks and piers for marine applications). The firm, with five plants and $420 million in sales, ranks 10th in Plastics News' annual survey of largest North American pipe, profile and tubing extruders – a position they have held for several years running.
Prior to joining Crane, Demboski worked for Deloitte & Touche for eight years, providing accounting and audit services to both publicly and privately held clients primarily in the manufacturing and distribution industries. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on accounting from Ohio State University in 1988.
