If someone with a video camera walked around the perimeter of your plant, would they find spilled pellets? That's basically what happened here, in a report on how a group called Surfers Against Sewage documented spilled pellets at a few plants in the UK, and showed how pellets eventually end up as hard-to-clean-up marine debris. This is embarrassing for the plastics industry. Many companies take this problem seriously and have put systems in place to deal with pellet loss. But a few bad apples can cause big problems for the environment, and they give the whole industry a bad name.
