The F-rotor has a novel blade separation and cutting geometry for optimal shredding with a high level of energy efficiency.
When shredding films and filaments, those materials tend to wrap themselves around single-shaft rotors. On the F-Rotor, the full extent of the rotor engages with the stator blade, quickly shredding the material. A much narrower gap than earlier rotor versions guarantees controlled feeding of the material to be shredded, according to Weima, of Ilsfeld, Germany.
