Excelsior Packaging Group Inc., a manufacturer of steam cooking packaging, recently purchased two blown film lines and a flexographic printing press from Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corp.
W&H said in a news release that Excelsior bought a three-layer and a five-layer Varex blown film extrusion line as well as its second Novoflex CM 10 flexo press.
Yonkers-based Excelsior has added many pieces of new equipment from W&H in the past two years. Those additions include a 10-color Heliostar GE gravure press, a nine-layer Filmex cast line, a five-layer Varex blown film line and a Novoflex CM 10 flex press.
Excelsior makes packaging for the food, personal-care and medical-product industries.
