B&H Tool Co., which makes plastic extrusion tooling, has been selected to supply crosshead dies, in-line dies and related tooling for MFX do Brasil in Salvador, Brazil.
MFX is a leading producer of high-pressure and high-resistance thermoplastic hose for marine, industrial and consumer applications. B&H will provide crossheads for the company's “umbilical” extrusion lines, used to make complex hose and cable assemblies that provide electrical and hydraulic power to offshore oil and gas platforms. The hoses are extruded from nylon or polyethylene.
