German hot-runner and mold maker Otto Männer Holding AG has added production to its U.S. operations.
Männer USA Inc. opened as a sales and service office in Lawrenceville in 1999. The new production reflects the firm's interest in the U.S. as a “prime market,” especially in the medical segment, the company said in a news release.
Männer, based in Bahlingen, Germany, previously had production only in Germany and Austria. The company has 400 employees globally and annual sales of about ($97.6 million).
The firm did not disclose the extent of its operations in Georgia.
