Czech electrical cable and connectors manufacturer Kosyka is investing in upgrading its production technology and developing new products this year.
Based in Jihlava, Czech Republic, the company recently moved into a new 3,000m² plant in Jihlava which it began constructing in 2010.
In the medium term, Kosyka plans to recruit new employees to its 150-strong workforce, the Czech CIA news agency quoted the firm's managing director Martin Saitl as saying.
The company which was founded in 1995, produces, assembles and distributes cables, connector systems and cable harnesses for the automotive, electronics and industrial appliance sectors. More than half of its output goes to the motor industry and Kosyka exports almost half its production to Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
Previously, Kosyka operated a second production plant at Jamne, close to Jihlava.
