Dow's deal with PIC is most sincerely dead
When we last covered the failed joint venture between Dow Chemical Co. and Petrochemical Industries Co. of Kuwait, Dow Chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris said there was still a chance that the deal could be revived. Not anymore. Today Reuters is reporting that Kuwait oil minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Abdullah al-Sabah, in an interview at the World Economic Forum in Jordan, said the deal is not going to happen.
