Reuters and others are reporting tonight that Delphi Corp.'s board of directors decided that it favors a plan to sell the company to its bankruptcy lenders, instead of a bid from private equity firm Platinum Equity. General Motors, which is Delphi's largest customer, also favors the bid from the lenders. The Obama administration's autos task force had negotiated the Platinum bid.
