Paladin Sales LLC of Uniontown is representing RBW Technologies Inc., a recycler and compounder of resin for rotational molding.
RBW President Jeffrey Moersch said the company in Evans City, Pa., has supplied reprocessed material to rotomolders for many years. Since we have this specialized experience, we want to expand our customer base, he said.
Terry Gillian, a consultant who runs Paladin Sales, said RBW and Paladin have enjoyed an informal relationship for a couple of years. Paladin is a manufacturers' representative company that offers products and services to rotomolders.
More and more of the rotomolders' customers want to be able to say they have recycled materials in their products and we mean to help them fulfill that need, Gillian said.
RBW Technologies was created in 1995 from RBW Industries, which started recycling post-industrial plastic, rubber, aluminum and paper in 1980. Since 1997, RBW Technologies has focused solely on plastics.
Located in a 40,000-square-foot plant, RBW buys scrap plastic, then shreds, grinds and blends it to specific formulations. The company adds colorants, stabilizers and antioxidants before extruding and pelletizing the plastic. The pellets get run through a pulverizer to make rotomolding power.
RBW also provides certified destruction services to get rid of surplus licensed goods, confidential items and recalled products.
