Resin Technologies Inc. has added three new staff positions and promoted four employees.
Fort Worth-based RTi, which helps resin buyers with purchasing, recently hired Craig Farrell, Caton Morris and Rock DePew. Morris and DePew will work to expand RTi's presence in the packaging market, while Farrell will try to grow the firm's foreign presence.
All three have extensive industry experience. DePew was with Dow Chemical Co., Nova Chemicals Corp. and Chemtura Corp. almost 30 years. Morris has 25 years of supply-chain experience with several firms. Farrell has 20 years of experience with Hoechst Celanese Corp. and AT Plastics Inc.
The new hires will enhance our ability to reach new businesses domestically and overseas, Chief Operating Officer Bill Bowie said in a news release.
The four people being promoted also have extensive industry experience. Those being promoted are:
* Mike Burns to vice president of polyethylene.
* Greg Smith to vice president of engineering resins, polystyrene and PVC.
* Mike Dewsbury to vice president of packaging.
* Lowell Huovinen to vice president of polypropylene.
The company employs 20.
