Kansas Gov. to tour Able Manufacturing
Able Manufacturing & Assembly LLC, a Joplin, Mo.-based thermoformer, and fiberglass fabricator, sent a note today highlighting some good news. Kansas Gov. Mark Parkinson will visit the company's Pittsburg, Kan., plant on Sept. 22. The visit will celebrate safety achievements -- 400,000 hours of no lost time, and a 2-year recertification in OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program. SHARP helps businesses achieve full compliance with all OSHA rules and regulations. Congratulations to Able Manufacturing President Jim Schwarz, for taking the time to commend the company's safety milestones, and for taking the opportunity to bring the governor in for a visit. Having local pols come for a visit is an excellent marketing move.
