Tederic Machinery Manufacturer (China) Co. Ltd., a Chinese-British joint venture that makes injection molding machines in Hangzhou, China, is touting its versatile presses in North America.
Established in 2003, the company builds machines in a 164,000-square-foot factory. Tederic Machinery has built machines in clamping forces as large as 4,000 tons. Company officials said Tederic is only one of two Chinese companies that can make injection presses that large.
Features of Tederic machines include fast injection speed, linear guide for low-friction clamp movement, servo-driven hydraulics and proportional clamp open and close.
The machines use a Gefran controller. They also use Bosch Rex-roth valves and Vickers pumps.
The clamping unit uses a five-point, double-toggle setup that has a large opening stroke, mold capacity and tie-bar distance to handle large molds.
An adjustable moving platen supporting unit is suitable for heavy molds. Larger presses use hydraulic sliding shows.
Twin hydraulic cylinders give fast, stable injection.
The company is represented by Tederic North American Machinery in Palmetto, Fla., and in Latin America by Escobar Trading Inc. of Miami.
