Housewares company Jifram Extrusions Inc. has added a Davis-Standard LLC Super Blue extruder to boost its production.
Jifram of Sheboygan Falls said it has seen sales increasing for its products sold at major retail outlets. The company said in a Sept. 30 news release that it bought the 31/2-inch extruder from Pawcatuck, Conn.-based Davis-Standard from the show-floor display at NPE2009, held in June in Chicago
The extruder includes a touch-screen control with built-in processor and multiloop temperature control.
Jifram now owns eight Davis-Standard extruders ranging in size from 2-31/2 inches. The company makes a variety of storage and home-organization products.
