Qualitest HPT unit tests for pipe failure

Qualitest USA of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., introduced its HPT series of hydrostatic pressure testers for determining time-to-failure of plastic pipe under constant internal pressure.

The unit also can be used for burst testing.

The HTP series also can feature three to 20 individually controlled test stations, a fast processor and software that automatically supports the pressure for each individual test sample.

Test parameters are set using a touch-screen monitor.
