After more than three years of considering options, toy rotational molder Little Tikes Co. has decided to keep its headquarters and manufacturing plant in Hudson.
The Akron, Ohio, Beacon Journal reported that the firm decided to accept a package of loans, grants and incentives from the state and the city worth $4.3 million. Little Tikes had considered offers to relocate from Kentucky, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Mexico.
The company, the ninth-largest rotomolder in Plastics News' recent ranking, is bringing its consumer services division back to Hudson from California, adding marketing positions, and has hired 30 workers to handle production being moved to Ohio from China.
