Milwaukee SPE making a difference

In the spirit of yesterday's post about plastics companies making a difference in their communities, here's an opportunity for others to get involved. The Milwaukee section of the Society of Plastics Engineers will be donating its time at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission in lieu of having an annual Christmas Party. The SPE board is encouraging others to attend. Volunteers should let SPE know they're coming by Friday, Dec. 4. The actual volunteer service will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 12. SPE advises workers to "dress in washable clothes and be prepared to do anything." The Rescue Mission is on 830 N. 19th St. in Milwaukee. Thanks to the Milwaukee SPE for taking the time to serve their community.
