Corrugated high density polyethylene pipe manufacturer Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. has acquired the other half of a joint venture the company owns with Infiltrator Systems Inc. of Old Saybrook, Conn.
Hilliard-based ADS acquired the other 50 percent share of StormTech LLC on Nov. 23.

As the industry leader, this was a logical next step to help us meet our strategic growth objectives.
StormTech chambers are highly engineered to meet the rigorous demands of subsurface storm water management, and provide optimal underground detention for storm water runoff, the release said.
There are thousands of StormTech chambers already installed. The company is launching a new larger-capacity chamber in the summer, the release said.
StormTech is the only manufacturer to produce chamber that adhere to nationally recognized ASTM standards, the release said. They are made from polypropylene.
