Oleky has more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry serving in a variety of management positions. Prior to joining Atek Medical in July 2005 as its vice president of business development, Oleksy held several executive supply-chain management positions within Medtronic from 1985 to 2005 and, prior to that, Dow Corning Corp. from 1984-98. Atek Medical promoted him to president in January 2006.
Oleksy has developed, written, presented and successfully implemented value-chain thinking for more than 25 years. He was one of the founding authors of the global industry ANSI standard, “Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) Model.” He writes articles for numerous publications, is widely quoted by the media as a source on the medical device industry and presents at conferences worldwide.
