Film winder handles wider, heavier rolls

Fulton Machinery Inc. of Phoenix, N.Y., which makes equipment for film, foil and paper converting, said its AAW7000 winder can wind 60-inch-diameter rolls.

The machine was designed to work with an existing roll changer, to replace a winder that can wind 50-inch rolls.

The turret indexing mechanism can handle 7,000-pound rolls on an existing 31-inch-arm radius.
