Conair Group Inc. introduced a family of pullers that has up to eight cleated, non-marking belt assemblies. The largest unit, Model CP36896, can handle 40-inch-diameter plastic pipe.
Each belt assembly has its own motor mounted to a speed reducer on the belt assembly. All the motors run at the same speed to reduce noise and cleat wear.
The upper-beam assemblies open and close pneumatically. The lower assemblies are adjusted mechanically for better alignment with the extruded pipe.
There are five models. The smallest has three beams and handles pipe or tubing from 1 inch to 6.5 inches in diameter.
