Fritschy, Michael A.

Mike Fritschy heads not only program management but also engineering for Nypro Healthcare (www.nypro.com/hc), a global business unit of billion-dollar processor and contract manufacturer Nypro Inc. He has held a variety of program management positions since joining Nypro in 1996. From 1997 to 2007 he also served as an instructor in injection molding at the University of Massachusetts.

Prior to joining Clinton, Mass.-based Nypro, Fritschy worked as a project manager and plastics engineer with Smith & Nephew, West Pharmaceutical and Fisher-Price.

He received his B.S. in plastics engineering from the University of Lowell in Massachusetts, an M.S. in administrative studies, innovation and technology from BostonUniversity and is certified as a PMP, or project management professional, by the Project Management Institute.

Fritschy is an advisory board member for UMass-Lowell's MassachusettsMedicalDeviceDevelopmentCenter, as well as for the Project Management Institute and the Society of Plastics Engineers.
