The Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. has filled several vacancies on its three industry councils.
Washington-based SPI said April 13 that eight people were elected at its Orlando, Fla., board meeting last month to represent the councils on the executive board.
New board members representing the Equipment Council are Carmen Lowe, vice president of sales and service, North America, for Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd.; Tad McGwire, president of Industrial Heater Co.; and Kurt Waldhauer, president and CEO of American Maplan.
Bob Janeczko, president and CEO of i2tech, and Wylie Royce, partner and owner of Royce Associates, were elected as representatives of the Processors Council.
Ted Fisher, owner and operations manager of Harman Corp.; Phil Wilson, national account manager of chemical catalysts of BASF Performance Polymers; and Mike Cardona, North America marketing manager for fluoroproducts at DuPont Co., were elected as representatives of the Material Suppliers Council.
The board includes elected and appointed officers and eight directors from each of the councils.
