D&W Fine Pack plans to break ground shortly for construction of its new corporate offices in Fountain Inn.
According to a May 10 news release, construction will begin by the end of June and is scheduled for completion by December.
Earlier this year, food-service packaging companies owned by Mid Oaks Investments LLC — thermoformers Dispoz-o Products LLC of Fountain Inn; C&M Fine Pack Inc. of San Bernardino, Calif.; and Wilkinson Industries Inc. of Omaha, Neb. — consolidated their head offices at Dispoz-o's headquarters. The consolidated firms operate as D&W Fine Pack.
“D&W Fine Pack continues to have a real appetite for acquisitions,” CEO Joseph Lancia said in the release.
D&W Fine Pack's Dispoz-o brand includes disposable cutlery, cutlery kits, straws, foam products and a biodegradable line of disposable products. The Wilkinson brand includes clear plastic deli containers, hinged containers, platters, bowls, aluminum foil, pans, pie plates and a compostable polylactic acid line of products. The C&M brand includes plastic plates, bowls, containers, trays and baskets.
Mid Oaks is based in Buffalo Grove, Ill.
