Here's one of those stories that just doesn't sound right, courtesy of the Canton, Ohio, Repository: Amish World adds furniture made from recycled milk jugs
PLAIN TWP. -- Amish-built outdoor furniture made from recycled plastic milk jugs is now available at Amish World, 3939 Everhard Rd. NW. The "poly lumber" furniture is equivalent in weight and size to traditional hardwood patio furniture. The company says it has a 20-year warranty and will withstand all types of weather.This is odd on so many levels:
- There's a store called Amish World.
- They sell products made from recycled plastic.
- They have a Web site.
