Congratulations -- once again -- to flexible hose and tubing supplier NewAge Industries Inc. of Southampton, Pa., which named a finalist in the 2010 Top Small Workplaces competition sponsored by Inc. magazine and Winning Workplaces, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting small businesses. NewAge was also a finalist in the contest last year. The company is one of 40 finalists selected from more than 500 entrants. The Top Small Company Workplaces competition is open to companies that meet specific criteria, such as having 500 or fewer employees, being independent (not a unit of a larger corporation), and being in business at least five years. The judges had this to say about NewAge: "Since its founding in 1954, this family-owned business has steadily followed its core values focusing upon customer appreciation, high ethical standards and sharing the wealth with employees. This formula has paid off. Today, NewAge is a modern lean operation with a tenured workforce known for its innovation, commitment and agility. This firm has consistently been profitable throughout its 56-year history with its share price steadily increasing." The company recently completed a second expansion of its cleanrooms in order to meet customer demand for the high purity molded silicone manifolds, tubing, and hose.
NewAge again a top small business
