Click through to this post for a photo that you won't believe is real: Lawrence Malstaff's "Shrink" exhibit, which "essentially vacuum-packs a person between two large plastic sheets, with a transparent tube inserted between the two surfaces letting the person inside the installation regulate the flow of air." In the exhibit, which is now at the Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg in Germany, the person inside the plastic sheets "moves slowly and changes positions, which vary from an almost embryonic position to one resembling a crucified body." Thanks to Crave, the gadget blog from Cnet news, for the link, and to Bill Bregar, one of Plastics News senior reporters, for the tip.
