Plastics News is correcting prices shown for suspension PVC on last week's resin chart.
Buyers contacted by Plastics News initially reported that North American market prices for suspension PVC were expected to fall an average of 3 cents for June. But actual settlements showed prices down an average of only 1 cent per pound, for a combined May-June price drop of 5 cents.
Based on the corrected prices, regional suspension PVC prices now are down about 6 percent since May 1. Prices for that material had climbed an average of 10 cents per pound (13 percent) in the first quarter of the year.
