Recyclable alternative for composite car parts (Sept. 7)
German researchers have developed a new method for producing thermoplastic fiber-reinforced composites designed for large-scale vehicle construction. Once the materials have reached end of life, they can be shredded, melted down and reused to produce new high-quality parts, according to the researchers.
