The sale marked the seventh UMS press the firm sold in 2010 — and the third all-electric blow molder of that size, for applications from cosmetic to pesticide bottles in 4- liter coextrusion.
Power consumption, measured at K, averaged 25 kilowatts, on an hourly output of 2,130 parts — vs. 42 kw needed for the same products running on a hydraulic version of the UMS.
