Philanthropy has been a priority at West Pharmaceutical Services Inc. for more than 35 years, including 2010 -- despite the economic downturn. Recent projects include donations to Africa Health Placements, Braille without Borders, Pennsylvania's Camp Victory and the Hope Lodge of Philadelphia's American Cancer Society. Earlier this year, West employees also donated time and raised funds for Canine Partners for Life, a non-profit organization that trains and places assistance dogs with individuals with mobility impairments. In the latest effort, the company's West without Borders corporate giving committee worked on behalf of families with children with autism. The group raised $15,000 to support the Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center (SPARC) and the Chester County Libraries. Their effort aided in the creation of autism collections to provide families with more educational resources. West employees also donated their time to volunteer at SPARC, aiding with on-site improvements that totaled $20,000. Congratulations for your successful efforts.
