Starlim North America Corp., a liquid silicone rubber molder, has purchased Poly-Nova Technologies Inc.
Poly-Nova molds LSR and runs a 32,300-square-foot plant in Guelph, Ontario, that molds parts from LSR and custom rubber compounds.
Terms were not disclosed.
The company, renamed Poly-Nova Technologies LP, is now part of Starlim North America Group.
Poly-Nova, which employs about 100 people, serves the North American automotive, appliance and electrical markets. Current management will continue to operate the company, Starlim said.
Starlim North America is a subsidiary of LSR molder Starlim-Sterner GmbH of Marchtrenk, Austria. Since it was founded in London, Ontario, in 2004, Starlim North America has grown from five LSR injection molding machines to 35 machines today.
Starlim-Sterner is building a 188,370-square-foot expansion into its headquarters factory in Austria enabling the company to add another 120 injection molding machines there.
