MURRAY, KY. (July 5, 12:20 p.m. ET) — Pella Corp. is adding 75 workers at its Murray plant this summer, citing strong demand for the company's Pella 350 Series of vinyl windows and patio doors.
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear announced the expansion. The jobs were added in June.
The plant manager of the Murray operation, Dieman, said the new employees were needed to make more of the energy-efficient windows.
Pella also makes glass-fiber reinforced composite windows and doors in Murray.
Pella Corp. is based in Pella, Iowa.
