E&T Plastics Manufacturing Co. Inc. recently completed a yearlong transition to bring all of its manufacturing operations under one roof, with the opening of a 70,000-square-foot facility in Teterboro, N.J.
The supplier of plastic sheet, rod, tube and film has been in operation since 1946.
“E&T Plastics' new Teterboro facility brings the entire manufacturing process under one roof, which will result in lower operating costs, increased factory throughput and tighter process integration,” said Michael Singer, vice president of manufacturing, in a news release.
The new facility has six high-speed, computer numerically controlled routers with tool-changing capabilities. It also offers an on-site computer-aided-design department. Other features include two laser cutting machines, computerized saws, a diamond-edge polishing machine, a robotic painting machine, and vacuum and pressure forming equipment.
The company moved its manufacturing from Long Island, N.Y., over the past year, but retains its corporate headquarters and a sales office on Long Island.
