CARLISLE, PA. (July 25, 11:45 a.m. ET) — Carlisle Construction Materials announced July 22 that it plans to build a polyisocyanurate insulation plant in Frederickson, Wash., 45 miles south of Seattle.
The plant will be CCM's seventh polyiso plant, joining locations in New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Florida, Texas and Utah.
Nick Shears, vice president for sales and marketing, said CCM is the largest U.S. producer of polyiso insulation, and the closest competitive plant is 600 miles away.
“CCM will offer the market's fastest and most reliable access to polyiso, a real benefit in a product that needs to be delivered on a JIT basis to job sites,” Shears said in a news release.
Carlisle-based Carlisle Construction Materials is part of Charlotte, N.C.-based Carlisle Cos. Inc.
