CHICAGO (Aug. 23, 12:45 p.m. ET) — Paper, Film & Foil Converter magazine will cease publishing with its August issue, the Chicago-based publisher announced Aug. 19. The magazine's New York-based parent, Penton Media Inc., said it will discontinue producing the print magazine and all its electronic media products.
The magazine's website will be online until the end of October.
PFFC dates back to 1927, when it started as The Envelope Industry. PFFC saw its ad pages decline from 620 to 437 from 2008 to last year, according to IMS: The Auditor.
Penton also is ceasing publishing of sister magazine American Printer.
