Northwestern Ohio Foam Products Inc. has settled into a new home more than a year after a fire destroyed its production plant in Wauseon.
The company is manufacturing in a new, 35,000-square-foot plant in Wauseon, where it also has office space, according to an Aug. 22 news release. That site replaces a nearby leased facility the firm moved into 30 days after March 2010 fire.
NOFP President and owner Wally Radjenovic said the city of Wauseon and Fulton County officials helped the firm find replacement space quickly, while employees pitched in to meet a rigid production schedule, ensuring continued delivery.
The firm will hold a celebration this month to thank its employees, the community, customers and vendors for their work in getting the new facility established.
NOFP makes foam for floor-heating insulation, building insulation, custom lamination and protective packaging.
