Philadelphia-based Constar has moved its executive offices to Troy, Mich., according to a Sept. 15 news release. The new office will house the CEO, CFO and other top officials.
The company has established a new business center in Trevose, Pa., three miles away from its former site at One Crown Way in Philadelphia. Constar is the marquee tenant in the building, which houses the company's accounting, legal, human resources, purchasing, and sales and marketing.
Constar's research and development and packaging design and engineering departments will continue to be based in Alsip, Ill., according to the release.
The PET bottle, preform and closures maker emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June under the ownership of its pre-bankruptcy secured note holders, Black Diamond Capital Management LLC and Solus Alternative Asset Management LP.
