Chalk up a victory in court to Foamation Inc., maker of the iconic polyurethane foam Cheesehead hats made famous by Green Bay Packers fans. According to ABC News, Foamation's threat to bring legal action prevented a group called Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine from putting a billboard near the Packer's Lambeau Field that depicted the Grim Reaper wearing a Cheesehead hat. The advertisement is part of an anti-cheese campaign by the group, which highlights the fat, cholesterol and sodium content in our beloved dairy treat. The billboard is still there -- but the Grim Reaper is rather conventional looking, just wearing a black hood. I don't know whether to count this as a legal victory for plastics or for cheese -- but I'm willing to celebrate with a bag of delicious Wisconsin curds.
